Location

INSA Lyon is located on campus La Doua Tech. The address is: 20 avenue Albert EInstein, 69100 Villeurbanne France.

The location of the banquet dinner (18:30 - 19:30 Social Hour, 19:30 - 22:00 Dinner) is at Palais de la bourse, Salle de la Corbeille (Place de la Bourse, 69002, Lyon).

Directions on how to get to the banquet dinner loaction: 

From the conference venue:

  • Take tram T1 (stop INSA-Einstein) or tram T4 (stop La Doua - Gaston Berger) to Charpennes.
  • From Charpennes take Metro A (stop Cordeliers).
  • The banquet venue is located 1 min. on foot from there.

How to reach the campus La Doua Tech of INSA-Lyon from the city and the airport (you can download these instructions in pdf format here):

Access to the campus of INSA-Lyon from the airport by car:

  • Take D29 and D147 to D302 in Meyzieu.
  • Continue on D302. Take N346 and A42 to Boulevard Laurent Bonnevay in Villeurbanne. Take Exit 6a from Boulevard Périphérique Nord.
  • Continue on Boulevard Laurent Bonnevay to the La Doua campus of INSA-Lyon.

 Access to the campus from the airport by public transportation:

Follow the directions inside the airport to Rhone-express, which takes you to the central station, Lyon Gare Part-Dieu.

You can pre-buy your ticket at the Rhone express website (https://www.rhonexpress.fr/).

From Lyon Part Dieu

From Lyon Part-Dieu to the campus: 2 options (metro B & tram T1, or tram T4)

Metro B & tram T1:

  • Departure station: Part-Dieu – Servient (need to cross the station), change to tram T1 at the station Charpennes
  • Direction: Charpennes (metro B), IUT Feysinne (Tram T1)
  • Arrival station: INSA Einstein, located 1 minute away from the conference venue.

Tram T4:

  • Departure station: Part-Dieu – Vilette (next to Rhone-Express).
  • Direction: La Doua Gaston Berger.
  • Arrival station: La Doua Gaston Berger (terminal stop), located 5 min on foot from the conference venue.
